The Village Beach Club was the perfect oceanfront setting to host David and Elizabeth’s wedding. It was a glorious day in May and not a cloud in sight! The sun was shining, and there was a light spring breeze coming up off the ocean. We first visited Elizabeth and her bridesmaids where they were enjoyed some light snacks and champagne as they were getting ready for the upcoming nuptials. You could feel the excitement in the room right when you walked in! Before we knew it, it was time to put on the dress! She was able to wear her Mother’s gown, which made it such a special moment for the both of them. With the dress on and the bridal party ready, the girls grabbed their bouquets from Ahoskie Florist and Gifts, and they were off to the Village Beach Club! Renee Landry Events provided a cross for the ceremony site, and it was the first thing you noticed when you walked out onto the beach, simply stunning! David and his groomsmen were already at the venue, chatting and relaxing until it was time to head down the aisle. They looked just as excited as the girls did! The ceremony started with beautiful music provided by the Roy Murray Music Studio. As the guests took their seats, David and Reverend Anita Thompson made their way to the end of the aisle with their bridal party and families following shortly after.  Everyone rose out of their seats as Elizabeth made her debut. She was escorted by her father as she made her way down towards David. You could see the sheer happiness in her smile with every step she took towards her future husband.  There, on the beach in Nags Head, NC, the two made their promises to one another and sealed their vows with a kiss! After the ceremony, the guests gathered around the pool at the Village Beach Club to enjoy appetizers and drinks while the couple took beach portraits. As the sun was beginning to set, The Crowd Band introduced David and Elizabeth to their guests and shared their first dance as husband and wife. You could see the love bubbling out of them like a freshly opened bottle of champagne! After the introductions and dances, the Village Beach Club provided a wide variety of food for dinner, which all of the guests seemed to enjoy. Before ending dinner and getting to the real dance party, they cut their beautiful cake which was provided by Susan Joyner! The Crowd Band then invited everyone to the dance floor, where most stayed the rest of the night. I have to admit that the dance moves were some of the best I have seen! When the party came to an end, the two made their way through their guests to be whisked away in a car to start their lives together as a married couple. It was such a pleasure to capture David and Elizabeth’s big day on film, and we wish them both many years of good health and happiness! Congrats!
